Renée Zellweger Wore Hermès To The 'Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy' London Photocall

Following the London premiere of Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, Renée Zellweger switched things up for the film’s photocall at The Tower Hotel on Thursday.

Breaking her recent streak of bare-shoulder looks, the actress opted for an all-black ensemble from Hermès’ Fall 2024 collection, featuring a tailored jacket, fine knit top, and a pair of leather culottes.

Now, whether you call them culottes, long Bermuda shorts, or cropped trousers, the real question is: how exactly do you pull off this modern silhouette, especially in the midst of fall / winter?

The runway-approved approach would have been to style them with knee-high leather boots for a sleek, elongating effect. But perhaps, in the absence of her signature off-the-shoulder moment, Renée decided to show a little leg instead, pairing her culottes with classic black Christian Louboutin Kate Max pumps.

Finishing the look with her signature retro cat-eye sunglasses, Renée exuded that effortlessly cool, Old Hollywood-meets-modern-minimalism vibe that has become her red carpet trademark. It’s safe to say that the actress continues to make a strong case for quietly chic fashion moments—even in culottes.
