Zendaya, nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Challengers, attended the 2025 Golden Globe Awards in a Louis Vuitton saffron double silk satin column bustier gown.
As we know, stylist Law Roach loves to put Zendaya in this silhouette, and for good reason—she looks fantastic in it. To add some drama, the gown features a pleated train that elevates the classic column style.
The saffron hue is simply divine, and Zendaya’s Bvlgari High Jewelry necklace, with its stunning oval paraiba tourmaline in platinum, complements the look beautifully. At first glance, everything seems perfect. So why am I not head over heels for this look?
It dawned on me—it’s the hair. The style seems to be inspired by an ‘80s supermodel – Roach’s constant source of inspiration – but for me, it ages Zendaya and the entire look to some degree. While I can appreciate the throwback reference, it slightly dampens the modern edge I usually expect from her.
Despite this, Zendaya still looks incredible overall, and I’m sure others will absolutely love this look.
