Here’s a roundup from the 2025 BAFTAs focusing on the menswear looks from Sunday’s event. The night brought us a mix of traditional black tie elegance, playful experiments, and a few styling choices that had me raising an eyebrow.
Fashion Maverick, Always
While this was a classic black-tie event, Jeff Goldblum plays by his own rules. Not only was his tie white, but he also styled his Loewe tailcoat suit with a unique feathered waistcoat. It’s giving swan-core, it’s giving whimsical professor, and honestly, it’s giving Jeff Goldblum, which is why I adore it.
Styled by Andrew T. Vottero.

A Colourful Surprise
Joe Alwyn, usually a classic suit kinda guy, dipped into the colour trends of the year with a burgundy Emporio Armani Spring 2025 suit. Extra points for the accessories: an Elsa Peretti Amapola brooch, a Tiffany T ring, and a Tiffany Lock bangle.
Styled by Rose Forde.

Ribbon Realness
Sebastian Croft’s Burc Akyol Open Heart suit, with its unique v-shaped jacket and ribbon tie, was a masterclass in keeping tailoring interesting without losing its essence. Fresh, youthful, and fun.
Styled by Harry Lambert.

Blazer Brilliance
Mark Eydelshteyn’s McQueen blazer with embellished details was a total win, even if his trousers were just a tiny bit too long. He’s got personality, and the outfit shows it.

Tux with a Twist
Jharrel Jerome ensured his classic Burberry tux had a touch of flair with an embellished shirt. Sometimes, all you need is one statement detail to elevate the entire look.
Styled by Michael Fisher.

Beret and Boots Brilliance
Nabhaan Rizwan served up the most unique menswear look of the night, alongside Colman Domingo, in a blue and white Hylton Nel Pearls embroidered Dior Men’s Spring 2025 jacket and custom cravat. The navy trousers, beret, and Dior Cape Town studded boots? Perfection. Cartier accessories completed his look.
Styled by Tony Cook.

Print Prince
Simon Pegg will always land on the best-dressed list because he knows how to make menswear fun. His Joshua Kane bespoke suit, styled with a Zenith timepiece and a Giovanni Raspini brooch, was a masterclass in texture and personality.
Styled by Arabella Boyce.

Tieless, Timeless
Adam Scott kept it simple and suave in a classic Dolce & Gabbana tux with a traditional cummerbund, but he went tieless for a more laid-back, modern feel. Effortless cool with just the right touch of formal flair.
Styled by Ilaria Urbinati.

Back To Classic
Adrien Brody has been intriguingly experimental on the red carpet lately, but he kept it strictly formal in a J.Crew tux. It’s clean, classic, and perfectly fine for the award-winner.
Styled by Jason Rembert.

Minimalist, But Make It Fashion
Corey Mylchreest embraced the black-on-black trend in a Saint Laurent tux with a collarless shirt. It’s understated, and sharp. Quiet luxury for the win.
Styled by Holly White.

Chambray, Really?
As much as I adore the blue velvet tones of Guy Pearce’s Brunello Cucinelli tux, he completely lost me with the chambray shirt. Chambray? To the BAFTAs? I need a moment.

Velvet Victory
Henry Golding capped off a stellar red carpet week in a sumptuous dunhill velvet suit. While most men are riding the brooch trend, Henry let his feet do the talking with dunhill black velvet Armorial evening slippers by dunhill. Suave from head to toe.

Dior’s Darling
Jack Lowden and Dior Men continue to be a match made in sartorial heaven. Sleek and sophisticated.

Loro Piana Perfection
The same can be said for Jeremy Strong, who looked quietly luxurious in a perfectly tailored Loro Piana suit and coat.
Styled by Warren Alfie Baker.

Couples Coordination
James McAvoy and Lisa Liberati served couple goals in complementary Dolce & Gabbana looks. Handsome, polished, and a touch of sparkle from them both.
Styled by Fabio Immediato.

Letdown Again
When it comes to Leo Woodall in Loewe. Why isn’t there a better solution when it comes to the trousers? It’s the same issue every time. A Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany brooch, Union Square watch, and a T T1 ring completed his look, but nothing can save those pants.
Styled by Chris Brown.

Classic, But Cool
Sebastian Stan, known for stepping outside the box, kept it classic in a P Johnson tux. Timeless tailoring at its finest. Cartier accessories added a touch of sparkle.
Styled by Michael Fisher.

Blue on Black Blunder
Will Poulter usually gets it right, but his navy and black Dior Men’s Winter 2025 look is irrationally bothering me. The colour combo just doesn’t work. You win some, you lose some.
