BLACKPINK’s Lisa has entered her actress era, and she’s doing it in the most fashionable way possible. Making her acting debut in HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3, Lisa stepped onto the premiere red carpet at Paramount Studios on Monday evening, proving she’s been taking notes from Margot Robbie and Blake Lively when it comes to press tour fashion.
If there was ever a moment for method dressing, this was it. Lisa’s custom Miss Sohee Couture gown wasn’t just inspired by a lotus—it was a lotus. The silk chiffon masterpiece featured mother-of-pearl embroidery, encrusted crystals, and pearls, cascading in a dreamy ombré from white to yellow. Simply put, she bloomed.
The original blue version of this gown featured long chiffon sleeves, but Lisa’s team made the right call by swapping them out for a delicate embellished capelet. The result? A fresher, more ethereal look that let her shine.
And then there was the gold lotus flower she carried like a couture trophy. Necessary? Maybe not. Fabulous? Absolutely. Some might say the gown itself was enough to sell the story, but personally, I live for this level of dedication. If you’re going to do method dressing, do method dressing.
Lisa will be bringing that same commitment to the screen when The White Lotus Season 3 premieres on HBO on February 16, where she plays a health mentor for the resort’s guests.
