Alicia Keys isn’t just winning awards—she’s making history. At the 2025 Grammy Awards, she took home Best Musical Theater Album (she’s now a 17x Grammy winner) and received the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award, an honour reserved for artists whose influence transcends music.
Named after the legendary producer himself, this award recognizes excellence in artistry, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.
And Alicia didn’t let the moment pass without serving a look worthy of such an accolade. Enter: her Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda black gown. Simple in design, yes, but the jewel-encrusted corset belt, Dolce & Gabbana Alta Gioielleria headpiece, and matching earrings elevated it to something far more powerful.
I love how the accessories alone gave her an air of regal sophistication, almost as if she had just stepped out of a Renaissance painting.
I, for one, would love to see more Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda on the red carpet, but I also appreciate that their rarity makes them even more valuable. Not every piece needs to be paraded out every awards season—some are best reserved for moments like this, where they add to the grandeur of the occasion.
