After a whirlwind New York press tour that hinted at a high-glam, maximalist moment from Anya Taylor-Joy for the Los Angeles premiere of Apple TV+’s The Gorge, I have to admit…this wasn’t what I expected.
Anya Taylor-Joy and minimalism aren’t exactly a familiar duo, yet here she was, surprising us all in a white Dior mini dress that felt refreshingly understated—for her, anyway.
Of course, it’s Anya, so there was still a touch of theatrical flair. Enter: the pleated organza cape. With a dramatic sweep of her arms, she transformed the red carpet into her runway, unfurling the cape like angelic wings. It was a moment.
But the magic didn’t stop there. As she turned around, the real pièce de résistance was revealed: a platinum diamond Tiffany & Co. Archives necklace cascading down her back. It was an unexpected twist that elevated the simplicity of the dress.

A polished updo, Jimmy Choo Minny sandals, Tiffany stud earrings, and Tiffany Victoria® rings completed the look with effortless ease.
This is why I love Anya. She can bring the drama, she can do subtle, she tells a story with every outfit. Never a dull moment with her on the red carpet. And yes, I’ll continue to stan.
