Miley Cyrus attends the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards

It wouldn’t be a Grammy Awards night without Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello dressing a few of the industry’s most effortlessly cool stars. Unsurprisingly, all three of them—Miley Cyrus, Charlotte Lawrence, and The Dare—stuck to the brand’s signature all-black everything aesthetic.

Played it safe?

Miley Cyrus wore a Saint Laurent cut-out leather dress paired with the label’s Salomé wedges. Now, while this might sound like a major fashion moment on paper, it lacked the impact we usually expect from her. Let’s not forget that just last year, she delivered a full-blown style reinventionand a new hairstyle to match. Compared to that, this felt surprisingly underwhelming, even with the cut-outs. And as much as I adored her Dolly Parton-inspired bouffant in 2024, this new choppy look has me firmly on the struggle bus.

When You Let The Diamonds Do The Talking

Returning from Paris Fashion Week, Charlotte Lawrence stepped into a silk crepe Saint Laurent dress and cape, delivering sheer (literally) elegance with a modern edge. The real star of her look? The Bvlgari High Jewelry Serpenti necklace paired with a High Jewelry diamond ring, which added just the right amount of sparkle to her darkly romantic ensemble.

Tux? Check. Sunglasses? Check. Effortless cool? Of course.

The Dare, aka Harrison Patrick Smith, proved once again that a Saint Laurent classic tux and a pair of Saint Laurent SL790 sunglasses are the ultimate formula for instant rockstar nonchalance. I’m starting to wonder—are these shades a prerequisite for imbuing coolness? If The Dare’s look is anything to go by, the answer is a resounding yes.
