Cynthia Erivo attended the 2025 NAACP Image Awards, where she was nominated for both Entertainer of the Year and Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture for Wicked, and she brought a look that was every bit as powerful as her talent.
Ditching the usual gowns in favour of a commanding Dolce & Gabbana pinstripe Turlington suit, Cynthia looked like she meant business—fashion business, that is. The double-breasted cut and wide-leg trousers worked their magic, making her appear six feet tall (and honestly, even more intimidatingly fabulous). Dolce & Gabbana’s impeccable craftsmanship was on full display here, proving once again why the Italian house continues to thrive in the world of tailoring.
Menswear influences have been dominating the red carpet lately, and Cynthia made a strong case for why that trend isn’t going anywhere. But, of course, she added her own signature touch—starting with those oval shades that screamed “effortless cool.” A cluster of earrings brought an edgy, modern contrast to the structured suit, while Tiffany & Co. brooches, including the Elsa Peretti® Amapola sterling silver with red silk brooch, added a touch of opulence.
This is, without a doubt, one of Cynthia’s best looks of the year. It’s powerful, polished, and dripping with personality—just like her.
