When I saw Cynthia Erivo step onto the 2025 BAFTAs red carpet, I had to do a double take. At first, I was sure she was wearing Schiaparelli—because that see-through top panel was screaming the Spring 2024 Haute Couture collection. But, it has been confirmed that this is actually a custom Louis Vuitton white macramé cotton lace bustier gown.
I know—you were probably side-eyeing the title of this article thinking I made a mistake, but you can see how I got there, right? The ethereal lace, the bold bustier design—classic Schiaparelli codes. But nope, it’s Louis Vuitton, continuing their recent run of custom gowns which are muted with a little edge.
As expected, Cynthia commands attention in this look, which, let’s be honest, could overwhelm a lesser fashion force. But Cynthia? She owns every inch of it with her usual power and poise.
She styled the gown with Louis Vuitton white leather pumps and a dazzling array of Tiffany & Co. jewelry, including an Archives bracelet, multiple rings, and stunning earrings.
