You might be looking at the title of this post and thinking, Surely Jeff Goldblum was attending the 2025 Costume Designers Guild Awards rather than the AFI Awards in Los Angeles yesterday?
But let’s be honest—Jeff doesn’t need an occasion to dress for an occasion. The Wicked star’s style résumé speaks for itself, and if there’s one thing we can count on, it’s that he’ll always deliver a look that’s equal parts eccentric and effortlessly cool.
For this event, Jeff stepped into his psychedelic era, wearing a printed blazer from the Dries Van Noten x Len Lye collaboration. If that wasn’t enough of a statement, he layered it over a gold lamé Tom Ford shirt, added a tan Prada tie, and grounded the look with classic black trousers.
Now, if you had written this combination down and asked me to visualize it, I never would have imagined it working. But with Jeff? It just does. Every. Single. Time. That’s the magic of a man who knows his style and wears it with unwavering confidence.
Finishing touches came in the form of Prada shoes featuring the brand’s signature plaque, a Cartier timepiece, and his signature Jacques Marie Mage glasses.
