Kacey Musgraves Wore Ralph Lauren Collection To The 2025 Grammy Awards

Kacey Musgraves graced the 2025 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles today, where she took home the Best Country Song award for The Architect.

At first, I thought, Has it been a while since we’ve seen Kacey on the red carpet? But then I remembered her CMA Awards appearance back in November. What I’m actually missing, though, are those bold, campy red carpet statements she used to make. The feathered capes, the feather hats, the ode to Barbie, the ombre flares, the tons of tulle—yes, they were a little OTT and sometimes veered into cheesy, but they were memorable. You always knew Kacey had arrived.

That said, I fully appreciate this new, refined direction from her, and what better brand to lean into that than Ralph Lauren?

Her Ralph Lauren Collection Spring 2025 ensemble was all about balance. The simple white tank served as a blank canvas, letting the embellished skirt bring the drama. But this wouldn’t be a Kacey Musgraves look without a touch of country, which came in the form of a leather cast concho belt, made in partnership with Navajo silversmith Jimmy Begay Jr. and Shiprock Santa Fe Gallery.

Even though I miss the Kacey who wasn’t afraid to dip into costume territory, this look belongs in her fashion Hall of Fame. It’s modern, elegant, and still authentically her.
