Kate Hudson Wore Roberto Cavalli Couture To The 'Running Point' LA Premiere

Annnd she’s back.

Yes, Kate Hudson’s black Thom Browne gown at the Critics’ Choice Awards was nice—but the Kate Hudson I know and love made her grand return on the red carpet for Netflix’s Running Point LA premiere at The Egyptian Theatre Hollywood on Thursday.

And what is not to love about this Roberto Cavalli Couture by Fausto Puglisi champagne-hued satin gown?

From the plunging square neckline to the coulisse draping effect and those double slits—this is the ultimate comeback to Kate’s signature, carefree glamour. It’s giving me all the feels, transporting me straight back to the late ’90s and early ’00s when Roberto Cavalli reigned supreme with gowns that oozed this exact brand of sensual, high-octane energy.

I know this style of unapologetic, in-your-face gown isn’t for everyone, but let’s be honest—Kate Hudson is a vision here. She’s effortlessly in her element, reminding us all why she became a red carpet favourite in the first place. And let’s not forget: champagne-hued dresses are practically her superpower.

The look was completed with matching gold Jimmy Choo Max platforms, which seamlessly complement the gown’s golden glow. My only gripe? The necklace. With a neckline like this, the dress didn’t need it.

But hey, when Kate’s serving this level of Hollywood glamour, who’s complaining?
