Now, we all know that Kendrick doesn’t just wear clothes—he weaponizes them. His fashion choices often carry weight, whether making a political statement or subtly reinforcing his artistry. But this time? This was personal. Double denim, otherwise known as the Canadian tuxedo. And who’s the most famous Canadian in Kendrick’s life right now? Drake. Coincidence? Absolutely not.
For those who somehow missed the most talked-about rap feud of the decade, Not Like Us was Lamar’s lyrical takedown of Drake, a diss track that became a cultural juggernaut. With this look, Kendrick doubled down (literally) on his message. If Drake is Canada’s biggest rap export, Lamar just turned his signature style into a Grammy-winning victory lap.
