Kerry Washington took home the Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture award for The Six Triple Eight at the 2025 NAACP Image Awards, and while her talent is undeniable, her red carpet look left me wanting a little more.
The actress wore a Prada ensemble featuring a rose-accented purple bandeau and a brown maxi skirt. There’s no denying that Kerry looks stunning—she always does—but this colour combo isn’t quite hitting the high notes for me. Imagine the impact if both pieces had been in that gorgeous shade of purple! Now that would’ve been a moment.
A simple updo kept the focus on the outfit, but overall, I can’t say I’m blown away. It’s pretty, it’s polished, but it could have been a whole look better. What do you think?
