Leo Woodall 'The 'Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy' Rome Photocall

On Wednesday, Renée Zellweger was joined in Rome by her co-stars Leo Woodall and Chiwetel Ejiofor for the ‘Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy’ photocall that served up plenty of luxe, tonal dressing. But as with any good fashion moment, there were a few details that gave me pause—specifically below the ankles.

perfect tonal dressing—until we got to the socks

Leo Woodall’s Loro Piana laidback set was a caramel delight, proving that you really can’t go wrong with neutrals. The cosy yet refined look exuded quiet luxury, and the camel coat was the kind of wardrobe staple that never fails. His accessories were equally on point—an OMEGA timepiece, David Beckham eyewear, and adidas sneakers that perfectly complemented the outfit.

But then… the joggers tucked into the socks. Why, Leo? Why? This tiny styling choice disrupted the sleek flow of an otherwise flawless ensemble. It wasn’t enough to ruin the look, but it certainly raised an eyebrow.

Almost Perfectly Coordinated

Chiwetel Ejiofor stepped out in a Zegna look featuring the label’s signature terracotta hue, and it was chef’s kiss in terms of coordination. The longline coat and blazer silhouette is clearly a favourite of his, and I can see why—it suits him so well.

But just when I was ready to give this an A+, I looked down and saw the black shoes. With brown and terracotta? Say it ain’t so. A warm brown or even deep burgundy shoe would’ve elevated this to perfection.
