Michelle Trachtenberg‘s former co-stars are remembering the actor after her tragic death at age 39.

The actor, best known for her roles in Harriet the Spy, Gossip Girl, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, was found dead in her New York City apartment on Wednesday, February 26, according to ABC News. Per the outlet, Trachtenberg had recently undergone a liver transplant. She died of natural causes.

Following the news of her passing, Michelle Trachtenberg’s former co-stars and colleagues shared heartbreaking tributes to the actor.

Ed Westwick

“So sad to hear of the passing of @michelletrachtenberg,” Westwick shared on his Instagram Story on February 26. “Sending prayers.”

Westwick starred alongside Trachtenberg on Gossip Girl.

Rosie O’Donnell

O’Donnell shared in a statement to Us Weekly, “Heartbreaking. I loved her very much. She struggled the last few years. I wish I could have helped.”

The 62-year-old starred alongside Trachtenberg in 1996’s Harriet the Spy.
