Monica Barbaro may have skipped the A Complete Unknown premiere at the Berlin Film Festival on Friday, but she’s kicking off our 2025 BAFTAs coverage in London this afternoon—and doing so in serious style. Nominated for Best Actress, Monica ensured all eyes were on her with a look worthy of the occasion.
As we’ve come to realise from her press, Monica and slinky, column silhouettes are a match made in fashion heaven. So, naturally, I was thrilled to see her glide down the red carpet in this Armani Privé Spring 2025 gown. The draped embroidery—featuring a stunning interplay of pale peach, charcoal, and silver crystals—marries high-octane glamour and elegance.
Monica is fast becoming one of my red carpet favourites. Her poise and impeccable style choices make her a consistent standout, and it seems Giorgio Armani agrees. After all, this is the very first dress from the Spring 2025 collection—presented just last month—to make its way onto a red carpet. That’s fashion royalty treatment.
Considering gown’s embellished brooch detail, Monica wisely kept her accessories minimal, completing the look with just a pair of diamond earrings. Simple, chic, and oh-so-effective.
It may be too early to crown her the best dressed of the night, but Monica has undeniably set a very high standard. Your move, BAFTA attendees.
