If there’s a look that perfectly matches my mood this Friday, it’s Storm Reid at the 2025 ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards. With the sun shining and the promise of spring finally in the air, I ditched my heavy winter coat earlier today, feeling that warm breeze—spring is well and truly on it’s way.
And what better way to embrace the season than with Storm’s light blue and pale green Cong Tri Spring 2025 high-low dress, paired with a cropped shirt? The vibrant, airy hues are giving me all the spring feels, even though the first official day of spring is still 20 days away.

Now, about that clutch. I couldn’t help but notice how Storm kept holding her silver clutch at waist height in every photo. My guess? Maybe she wasn’t fully convinced by the way the top of the top half of the dress meets the skirt.

Honestly, I get it—there’s a little something about that junction that doesn’t quite work in reality, or perhaps she just needed guidance on how to pose in this dress with such a unique silhouette, but I’m not letting that stop my appreciation for this gorgeous look.
Silver sandals rounded off the outfit completed her look.
