The 2025 Grammys were held in the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, but you’d be forgiven for thinking the event was at Camp David, given just how much global conflict was solved. Between performances, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and Rodrigo’s boyfriend Louis Partridge, all mixed and mingled in what sure looks to be a friendly manner, hopefully quashing any stories of various alleged beefs between the parties.
ICYMI, Rodrigo’s breakout hit “Driver’s License” references losing her boyfriend (her High School Musical: The Musical: The Series co-star Joshua Bassett) to an “older blonde,” who was maybe possibly definitely Carpenter. It wasn’t exactly a diss track, nor were Carpenter’s two songs about the situation (“Skin” and “Because I Liked A Boy”), but at the time, it was hard to imagine the two Disney starlets being buddies.
Cut to February 2, 2025, and Rodrigo and Carpenter are happily chatting—and hugging—at the Grammys.

As Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan version) once said, “All the drama from last year just wasn’t important anymore…finally, girl world was at peace.”
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo allegedly had a falling out some years ago over songwriting credits, and when Swift invited Carpenter to be an opening act on the Eras tour, it seemed she’d taken a side in that stalemate as well. But lo and behold, come Grammys night, Swift was seen talking with Enola Holmes star Louis Partridge, who has been dating Rodrigo for over a year.

On TikTok, fans are celebrating the end of the Pop Cold War. “I’ve been waiting for this moment,” wrote one fan. “This healed something in me,” added another.
