Vicky Krieps masters menswear at the ‘Hot Milk’ Berlin premiere

Following her photocall earlier in the day, Vicky Krieps returned to the red carpet at the Berlin Film Festival for the premiere of her new film, Hot Milk.

No over-the-knee boots this time, but the Luxembourgish-German actress continued her Bottega Veneta streak, serving up her second look from the label in one day.

Now, you know I’m mildly obsessed with this oversized menswear-inspired trend—it’s giving power, it’s giving presence—but let’s be real, it’s not for everyone.

I can already hear the grumbles that the size of this melange wool suit, particularly the coat, makes her look like she’s raided her grandpa’s closet. But here’s the thing: this trend lives and dies by the attitude of the wearer, and Vicky? She’s selling it.

In fact, I think the coat makes the look, giving it an authoritative edge that pairs perfectly with the crisp cotton striped shirt and jacquard silk tie. It’s giving boss energy but with an effortlessly cool, bookish charm.

She finished the look with Bottega Veneta Lewis pumps and Alchemy earrings, balancing polish with that signature Bottega minimalism.

Love or loathe the oversized trend, there’s no denying that Vicky is wearing this suit—and it’s not wearing her – even though the trouser length is a fraction too long.
