The Minecraft universe might be all about pixelated blocks and crafting, but Danielle Brooks and Emma Myers proved that red carpet fashion is anything but square at the A Minecraft Movie fan event in Mexico. With one bringing the glamour and the other leaning into boho-chic.
Llama, but make it fashion
Danielle Brooks switched things up from the copper bob she sported on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last week, debuting glossy black waves that cascaded effortlessly around her shoulders. The actress looked radiant in a House of CB Marilyn red dress that hugged her curves beautifully. And if you’re wondering why she’s holding a Llama, let’s just say this furry friend has become a surprise cult icon thanks to its scene-stealing moment in the movie’s trailer. We know how fashion and film promotions go hand in hand, and this is yet another of those on-theme accessories.

A high-low moment
Emma Myers stepped out in a black ruffled high-low dress from the Chloé Spring 2025 collection. Now, I know high-low dresses have their fair share of fashion detractors, but Emma managed to make this one work with her soft, boho-inspired styling. The layers of ruffles added movement, giving the look an ethereal quality. But what I’m truly thankful for? That she wasn’t required to wear those pink Chloé jelly PVC sandals from the runway. Cute in theory, but let’s be honest—they would’ve thrown the whole vibe off.
