We’re over a year into the Wicked experience, and somehow, Cynthia Erivo still manages to leave me completely breathless. Tonight, at the 2025 Oscars, she delivered a look so spellbinding that even Glinda herself would be gagged.
The British actress graced the red carpet in a custom Louis Vuitton dark green velvet bustier gown—an undeniable homage to Elphaba. The gown seamlessly incorporated the iconic green hue, along with bewitching elements like the structured collar and those razor-sharp nails (yes, she got a fresh set). The oversized bow and voluminous skirt only amplified the drama, making this one of the most theatrical looks of the night.
If this were the final Wicked red carpet moment for Cynthia, it would have been a legendary send-off. But let’s not forget—we still have Wicked Part II to come.
Most dramatic look of the night? I’d say so. This is Cynthia at her absolute best. I’m in awe.
