Rachel Zegler was the fairest of them all at the Snow White world premiere at the El Capitan Theatre on Saturday, where she joined her co-star Gal Gadot, and I, for one, couldn’t be happier about it.
The actress floated onto the red carpet in a belted Dior pink silk taffeta strapless gown that ticked every single Disney-princess-worthy box. Embroidered butterflies? Check. Soft, romantic silhouette? Check. An overall ethereal energy that feels like it was plucked straight out of a storybook? Check, check, check. This is exactly what I wanted from this press tour.

And let’s be honest—I’m not usually a taffeta girl. It has a tendency to crumple into a wrinkled mess at the slightest movement, but somehow, this dress defied the odds for the most part and maintained its dreamy structure. No “dragged through a hedge backwards” effect here, thank goodness.

The dress is whimsical yet regal, the updo is perfectly polished, and the diamond jewels are the final sprinkle of magic dust that elevate this look to something truly special. Rachel didn’t just wear a dress; she became a Disney princess in real time.

Her commitment to method dressing throughout this short-lived Snow White press tour has been nothing short of impressive. From the custom Paolo Sebastian Couture gown at the Tokyo premiere, featuring a direct nod to the original 1937 animated film with the “heart box” motif on the bodice, to the Elie Saab Haute Couture white gown styled with an apple-shaped clutch, to the Carolina Herrera look that gave us a modern twist on the classic tale—Rachel and her team clearly understood the assignment.

And this Dior gown? It was the perfect grand finale. Classic yet fresh, dreamy yet elegant, this was a true full-circle moment that tied her Snow White style story together beautifully.

If only the press tour had been longer—because Rachel was on a roll.
