Renée Zellweger Wore Saint Laurent To The 'Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy' Paris Premiere

Renée Zellweger’s final outing as Bridget Jones must have been an emotional one, but if you’ve seen Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, you’ll know she got her happy ending. And if you were expecting Renée to suddenly switch things up for this press tour—maybe embrace long sleeves, a fit-and-flare silhouette, or a fashion curveball—you were sorely mistaken. Renée gave us classic Renée throughout, and she didn’t skip a beat when it came to her signature staples: strapless designs, column silhouettes, one-shoulder moments, bold hues, and that timeless, effortless elegance. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.

There are signatures that can feel predictable, and then there are signatures so deeply embedded in someone’s style DNA that it’s impossible to picture them in anything else. That’s where I stand with Renée. When executed this flawlessly, why mess with perfection?

Some might say that her stylist, Petra Flannery, had an easy job—after all, the formula is set. But I’d argue the opposite. When the brief is so specific, avoiding repetition, déjà vu, or worse, sartorial fatigue, is no easy feat. Yet this press tour felt fresh and refined every step of the way.

The Armani Privé gown from the Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy Rome premiere remains my personal favourite—polished, poised, and peak Renée. The Tamara Ralph Couture look from Amsterdam was another standout, while the vintage Pierre Balmain Haute Couture moment in London delivered a touch of old Hollywood glamour that felt particularly special.

Which look stands out for you?
