Suki Waterhouse Valentino Spring 2025 Billboard Women In Music 2025

Suki Waterhouse is fully committed to her retro era, and we love that for her. She took to the stage at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music ceremony to present aespa with their Group of the Year award before delivering a high-energy performance of Whiplash. But while her performance had the crowd buzzing, her outfit had me… well, conflicted.

We just celebrated her in that stunning ’70s-inspired Isabel Marant look last week (a look so good it landed as your Best Dressed of the Week). But this Valentino Spring 2025 moment? It’s giving retro, yes—but also, granny’s attic rummage sale. That’s classic Alessandro Michele for you. He’s always danced on the fine line between vintage-inspired brilliance and something your eccentric great-aunt would hoard in her closet “just in case.”

The pink chiffon ruffles, the faux-fur trimmed vest, and the black lace gloves? Together, they’re like a chaotic fashion potion where none of the ingredients quite mix. I wanted to love it, I tried to love it—but in the end, I just wanted to grab some scissors and start editing.

Now, the floral sequin skirt? That, I’d keep. It’s the one piece I’d rescue and build a whole new look around. But I have to give Suki credit—she’s selling the outfit with confidence. And at the end of the day, if she believes in the look, that’s half the battle won.
