Dazed Media on Friday announced a new leadership team, three days after the exit of editor-in-chief IB Kamara.
Ted Stansfield will succeed Kamara as editor-in-chief in June, stepping up from his roles as editorial director of Dazed Digital, AnOthermag.com and editor of Another Man.
Alongside Stansfield, Dazed has appointed Dominique Sisley as editorial director, Serena Smith as deputy editor, Imruh Asha as fashion and image director, Ana Takahashi as beauty editor-at-large, Laura Pitcher as US editor and Ester Mejibovski as art director. Zara Mirkin will continue as fashion editor-at-large.
Further announcements are expected ahead of Stansfield’s first issue due September, signalling a new chapter for the magazine as it navigates the evolving media landscape.“
Dazed was founded on a clear purpose to empower the next generation through creativity. This new chapter celebrates our original purpose by promoting the bright young talent at the heart of our business,” Jefferson Hack, Dazed Media CEO and co-founder said in a statement.
