After dazzling us with two standout looks in Mexico City while promoting Sinners, Hailee Steinfeld was back stateside, making a guest appearance on Good Morning America today.
If you’ve been here long enough, you’ll know my love for a good one-piece runs deep. So naturally, I was intrigued by Hailee’s choice of a grey utility jumpsuit from the Michael Kors Collection Fall 2025 runway. Stylish and functional, this piece blends utilitarian design with a modern, chic edge. However, as much as I want to fully embrace it, there’s just one problem—it’s too big.
The oversized trend is thriving, but there’s oversized, and then there’s swallowed by fabric, and this leans into the latter. Us long-torso girls wouldn’t have an issue here, but Hailee’s shorter torso caused the fabric to bunch at the waist, throwing off the intended proportions. The length also worked against her, as the jumpsuit has to sit higher than designed.
A few tweaks—hemming the trousers, loosening the leather-wrapped belt, and lowering the waist—would have refined the fit. But honestly? I still kinda love it. It’s effortless, it’s cool, and it’s very Hailee.
Shame about the creases also.
