Hailee Steinfeld has been on an impressive style streak lately — and last week’s appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon was yet another fashion win. While she chatted about her engagement to Josh Allen (Buffalo clearly loves her back), singing front of Elton John, and her upcoming project Sinners with Michael B. Jordan (the fashion duo we didn’t know we needed), I was just as entranced by what she was wearing as what she was saying.
Though red has been her colour, Hailee chose to go classic with a sleek all-black look — a choice that never fails on late night.
She slipped into a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2024 long sleeve silk turtleneck, which exudes understated elegance, but then took a delightfully daring turn with a floor-length lace skirt that added a whisper of drama and romance.
Paired with Calzedonia tights and a simple pair of black pumps, the ensemble was effortless, but still packed a punch.
We weren’t fans of this look when Diane Kruger wore it to The Shrouds Toronto Film Festival Premiere back in September, with the runway veil throwing things off. But did Hailee sell this look to you?
