Jenna Ortega lilac and brown Versace Spring 2025 shorts printed shirt and blazer 'Hurry Up Tomorrow' CinemaCon 2025 Presentation

Jenna Ortega was at CinemaCon 2025 to promote Hurry Up Tomorrow, her upcoming thriller with Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye and Barry Keoghan. Given the psychological nature of the film (yes, another one—Jenna is really carving out her niche), you’d expect her to lean into her signature moody aesthetic. But in a delightful twist, she stepped into spring with retro charm.

The actress has made dark, brooding fashion her signature, but this Versace Spring 2025 ensemble was a refreshing pivot.

The printed blouse, drenched in the brand’s exotic Barocco and Poppies motif, felt like a love letter to the swinging ’60s—a decade famed for its bold, sometimes unexpected colour pairings. Jenna embraced that spirit effortlessly with a dreamy pastel lilac and earthy brown combo that struck the perfect balance between nostalgic and contemporary. The lilac short shorts further cemented the retro vibe, capturing the playful, leg-baring silhouettes that defined the era.

The Versace Gianni ribbon satin sandals, complete with the signature ‘nastro Gianni’ bow and an enamel Medusa emblem, added that extra touch of nostalgia and playfulness.

This was a fun, lighthearted take on spring dressing, and while I’ll always appreciate Jenna’s commitment to gothic glamour, it’s nice to see her doing something different.

Hurry Up Tomorrow is set to hit theatres on May 16.
