Cindy Crawford and her daughter, Kaia Gerber, had a glamorous fashion moment at the premiere of ‘Good Night and Good Luck’ at the Winter Garden Theater on Broadway in New York City. The supermodel and the actress looked more alike than ever, stepping out in all-black looks and showcasing their impeccable sense of style.
Kaia wore a square-neck maxi slip dress, seemingly inspired by the 90s timeless ensembles. She paired the simple yet elegant dress with a gold Omega watch, classic black pumps, and a sleek black envelope clutch.
The model-turned-actress styled her hair in loose waves and rocked a bronzey makeup look. Meanwhile, the supermodel opted for a slightly edgier version of the black look, featuring a single shoulder with a sleeve, an asymmetrical cut-out on the chest, and a thigh-high slit.
Cindy looked confident and sophisticated stepping out for the event with her daughter. Like Kaia, she accessorized with a gold watch, a black clutch, and minimal jewelry.
Randy Gerber, Cindy’s husband, and Kaia’s father, joined the pair for the night, wearing a classic all-black suit, completing the family’s coordinated, elegant look for the evening.
It’s no secret that the mother-daughter duo have a good relationship, and have worn similar ensembles before, with many commenting on the incredible resemblance between them.
Kaia has paid homage to her mom on different occasions by recreating some of her iconic 90s looks. Just last September, she recreated the supermodel’s 1993 Oscars look with a similar white dress and voluminous hairstyle at a premiere at TIFF.
She also voiced her love and admiration for her mom after watching the 2023 documentary ‘The Supermodels.’ “I was starstruck in front of her after,” Kaia told WSJ. “I was like, ‘I didn’t realize. I knew you were iconic, but…’ I didn’t understand when I was younger.”
She continued, “What she made of her career, there wasn’t really someone’s footsteps to follow. And I thought it was so cool that she always had that ambition, and she did things where people told her, ‘This will ruin your career. Don’t do this.’ And she trusted her instincts.”
