Lily Collins made a dazzling return to the red carpet at the 2025 Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Santa Monica on Saturday, and let’s just say—Emily Cooper would be très proud.
Her press tour already taught us that Lily and Armani Privé are a sartorial dream team, and this latest look further sealed the deal. She wore a black strapless velvet corset top paired with a black silk chiffon skirt, delightfully peppered with white polka dots. The asymmetrical ruffle detailing and side slit gave it just the right amount of whimsy to balance the structure up top. It’s giving modern-day Audrey Hepburn meets vintage couture fantasy.
Now, about those ankle-strap pumps… would they have been my first choice? Probably not. But are they ruining the moment? Not at all.
Cartier jewels were the finishing touch, allowing the ensemble to be the main character.
Lily continues to master the art of elegance with a twist, and this ensemble is another charming chapter in her red carpet romance with Armani Privé.
