Michael B. Jordan joined Hailee Steinfeld for the Sinners London photocall on Sunday, and while Hailee leaned heavy and dramatic, Michael? He was the picture of laidback cool – even in a leather suit.
Clearly, no one told the Sinners cast that London was planning to show off with glorious sunshine, because his outfit was very much prepared for cloud cover. But even with the sun blazing down, Michael looked effortlessly sharp in a custom GapStudio plonge leather suit. The boxy jacket and loose-fit trousers gave us just the right mix of structure and slouch, and it was all grounded by a classic Gap T-shirt that made the whole look feel unfussy.

Add in those slick sunglasses and David Yurman jewels and he basically looked like the leading man of a very stylish summer heist film. The kind of guy who walks away from an explosion in slow motion, leather completely unbothered, sunglasses firmly in place.
Timothée Chalamet gave us the first taste of GapStudio back in February at the Academy Awards Nominees Dinner, and now Michael is cementing the vibe: think elevated everyday pieces with a downtown-cool twist, especially for menswear. The oversized proportions, relaxed tailoring, and effortless mix of materials suggest GapStudio has its finger on the pulse of this quiet luxury meets streetwear moment.
And if you thought this was just a boys’ club, think again. Collection 01 – the women’s line designed by Zac Posen – launched on April 3rd, meaning the brand is positioning itself as a major player for both men’s and women’s wardrobes.
So yes, while the London sun surprised us all, Michael B. Jordan’s cool composure didn’t waver one bit.
