Harry Styles Just Gave a Rare Interview About Working With Olivia Wilde

A rare WildeStyle comment! Former One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles had nothing but praise for his girlfriend, actor-director Olivia Wilde, when talking about working with her on the set of their upcoming thriller, Don’t Worry Darling.

Don’t Worry Darling, Wilde’s follow-up to her critically acclaimed debut Booksmart, follows Styles and Florence Pugh as a married couple whose idyllic Cold War life isn’t quite what it appears to be. It’s the first lead role for Styles, who dipped his toe into acting with a small part in Dunkirk and was recently incorporated into the MCU. 

But most important (for this story’s purposes, at least), the film is where Wilde and Styles met. She was just coming off a breakup with longtime partner Jason Sudeikis in late 2020 when Styles was cast. The next thing you know, a celeb couple was born!

“I had a wonderful experience being directed by Olivia,” Harry Styles recently told Howard Stern, per Page Six. “Acting is kind of very uncomfortable at times. I think you have to trust a lot. It requires a lot of trust if you want to kind of give it everything, and I think being able to trust your director is a gift, so that was very helpful.”
