Summer 2022 hasn’t even officially kicked off yet, but rapper and Glamour 2021 Woman of the Year Megan Thee Stallion wore an all-black outfit that was giving some serious summer-to-fall transition vibes to the Balenciaga show in New York City on Sunday, May 22, where temps reached the high 80s.
For the event, which it’s worth noting was free from any Cara Delevingne photo bombing, Megan Thee Stallion wore a formfitting black short sleeve sheer top with a crew neck. The top revealed a basic black bra and silver belly button ring. She paired the sheer top with black high-waisted leggings and elevated the casual ensemble with a pair of black knee-high pointed-toe heeled boots. When Megan first arrived at the show, she also wore a long black oversized coat. Megan accessorized with futuristic black sunglasses and wore her hair in a tight updo with some face-framing pieces. For makeup, she chose a smokey winged eye with a dramatic glossy, neutral-lined lip.
With the long coat and sunglasses, the whole vibe felt very Matrix. However, Megan revealed on Instagram her true inspiration for the look: Leorio Paradinight, a character in the Hunter × Hunter manga and anime series. (You can see him on slide six in the Instagram below.)
