On Monday (May 23) Disney hosted the ‘Hollywood Stargirl’ premiere held at the El Capitan Theater with stars Grace Vanderwaal and Judy Greer in attendance.
Grace Vanderwaal, who performs the original song ‘Figure It Out,’ for the film, wore a billowing Cong Tri Spring 2022 cloud-like dress with a high low hemline.
I loved the ethereal nature of the dress, and the Le Vian necklace, but when I got to the Versace pink and gold pumps, I felt like the dress and shoes were going to two different events.
Simple sandals, even flats would’ve worked better with the laidback, boho vibes of this dress.
Judy Greer went in the totally opposite direction wearing a red latex, bow-accented Greta Constantine Fall 2022 dress.
We can be thankful that Judy wasn’t totally inspired by the lookbook, and that Judy chose to do something different, as she tends to wear a lot of floral, The Vampire’s Wife-style dresses.
Personally, I loved this edgier, something new from Judy. Even if I feel this must have been a little uncomfortable, and squeaky, she looks amazing.
