Yola, who plays Sister Rosetta Tharpe in the new ‘Elvis’ film joined her co-stars Austin Butler and Olivia DeJonge on the red carpet for the London premiere of ‘Elvis’ held at the BFI Southbank on Tuesday (May 31).
The actress wore a red Act N°1 Fall 2022 tulle coat dress which took over this red carpet.
It’s a bold look, and needed someone with confidence to pull it off which Yola has in spades.
My only issue is that it seems to be totally overwhelming her.
A lot of factors could be contributing to this, and my theory rests on her also going big with her hair which is giving this look ‘volume overload’.
I wasn’t a fan of her black Roger Vivier platforms as I felt they were a little dated with this magnificent piece.
