Just over a month after returning to her signature golden honey blonde, Gigi Hadid is switching things up again—and we’re pretty sure this is the lightest her hair has ever been.
The model recently returned to New York after working at Milan Fashion Week and then Paris Fashion Week and is seemingly trying to keep her new platinum locks under wraps. Perhaps planning another big runway reveal, the model stepped out in an all-black activewear outfit, mask, and sunglasses. She even tucked her hair into her jacket, but you can still see how light the shade is in the picture here.
Anyone who’s gone blonde knows it probably took multiple treatments to achieve this cool, brass-less tone. In fact, it’s possible platinum has been Gigi’s goal since she started dying her hair back to blonde from “expensive brunette” back in January 2022. And nothing says commitment like bleached brows.
Actually, both Hadid sisters recently bleached their brows in the name of fashion. Gigi and Bella Hadid walked the Versace runway with invisible eyebrows and smoky black eyeshadow, creating an intense aesthetic.
Then again, that was in late February. In early March, Gigi Hadid stepped out for dinner at a Paris restaurant in a floral Lanvin bustier bodysuit with a matching coat, flashy necklaces…and very visible brows. While she could have used makeup to fill in her brows back to a more natural shade, it’s also possible she opted to bleach them again.
Speaking of the Hadid sisters and eyebrows, Bella has been at the forefront of the resurgent skinny brow movement, a controversial trend that once robbed an entire generation of hours spent over-plucking.
