Everyone has to have their Pretty Woman moment, even Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge.
By “Pretty Woman moment,” I mean when someone wears a polka dot dress and a matching hat to an equestrian event, and Kate Middleton pulled it off in a classic Kate Middleton way.
The Duchess wore an Alessandra Rich polka dot dress for her appearance on day four of Royal Ascot, the famous horse race, on Friday, June 17. Middleton’s high-neck dress has long sleeves with subtle puffy detailing at the shoulder. It falls a few inches above her ankles and has a twisted fabric detail across the bodice and a built-in belt that accentuates the waist.
Duchess Kate paired the look with light brown pointed-toe heels, pearl drop earrings, and a brown fascinator with dainty white flowers. She pulled it all together with a neutral eyeshadow look with a berry red lip, and wore her hair in a sophisticated low bun.
