20 years after their romance took the world by storm, and 14 months after recoupling (I’ve been watching too much Love Island), Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck officially tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the Las Vegas’ Little White Chapel on Saturday (July 16).
So what does JLo wear for such a milestone occasion?
Two dresses of course.
JLo was always going to go big for her wedding day. I don’t believe in the notion that one should “do less” when you’re on your second, three or fourth wedding.
Jennifer’s first dress was a Zuhair Murad Bridal Spring Summer 2023 white lace off shoulder long sleeve bridal gown with a sweetheart neckline, corset bodice, and fishtail train and matching veil with lace trim.
Some might feel it’s too sexy, but this is JLo we are talking about. This is very on brand for the diva.
Hopefully we see some full length pictures at some point from People or Vogue at some point because it looks breath-taking on the model.
Jennifer has appeared in a number of rom-com films in which ends with her getting married, so you won’t be surprised to learn that this second sleeveless white dress with a fit and flare silhouette and jacquard pattern hails from an old movie.
This dress showcases the more romantic side of Jennifer Lopez. The first is very predictable, whereas this one feels a little old fashioned, which I don’t mean in a negative way.

The Proposal
Ben proposed to Jennifer back in April 2022 with a green engagement ring as green is her favourite hue.
In a newsletter on her website she said, “I always say the colour green is my lucky colour. Maybe you can remember a certain green dress (nodding to her Versace gown at the 2000 Grammys). I’ve realised there are many moments in my life where amazing things happened when I was wearing green.”
