Here is a roundup from the 2nd Annual HCA TV Awards held at The Beverly Hilton on Saturday (August 13) in California, where a host of celebrities joined Sydney Sweeney and Sarah Paulson on the red carpet.
Juliette Lewis stood out the most on this red carpet wearing a Givenchy Fall 2022 dark brown bustier tube dress fully embroidered with sequins.
On anyone else I would’ve said that the Givenchy white and silver pearl necklace was a little OTT, but Juliette has the personality to pull this piece off.
Mandy Moore, who is expecting her second child, with her husband Taylor Goldsmith, went with the flow of this event by opting for dark colours.
Of all the people I expected to buck the trend, it was Mandy.
The actress wore a Rodarte Fall 2022 caped dress which showcases the brands romantic vision.
Sheryl Lee Ralph was giving us awards ceremony energy wearing a black microfiber gown which I’m sure you would’ve recognised as Greta Constantine based on the green ruffled detailing alone.
Hannah Einbinder, Best Supporting Actress in a Streaming Comedy Series winner, wore a Givenchy Spring 2022 black wool U-lock jacket with pleated details worn with matching black wool trousers.
Much like Sarah Paulson, the details are lost with the dark background and dim lighting.
Lake Bell, who accepted the award for Best Directing in a Streaming Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Movie for ‘Pam & Tommy’, wore a black velvet Sportmax ‘Acro’ dress from the Fall 2022 collection, which made me look twice, because I didn’t see the blush pads at first.
The dress is beautiful, but on the red carpet that design feature looks like a wardrobe malfunction.
A Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch completed the look.
Quinta Brunson, who received the TV Breakout Star Award and the Best Actress in a Broadcast Network or Cable Series, Comedy for ‘Abbott Elementary,’ brought plenty of drama to the event wearing a Tony Ward Fall 2022 Couture silver mini dress with a fuchsia oversized taffeta coat.
I would’ve complained had she not worn the coat, because we’ve seen an embellished mini dress a thousand times. The coat elevated the look.
Fernando Jorge earrings and De Beers Forevermark rings provided the finishing touch.
