Kris and Kylie Jenner Wore Mother-Daughter Corsets to Promote Their New Martini-Soaked Collab

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about 2022 style that isn’t completely recycled from Y2K fashion, it’s that the corset is quite the versatile item of clothing. Call it the Bridgerton-ification of modern dressing, but we’ve started seeing the former undergarment on countless red carpets, on the streets, worn as skirts, and even as an element of business casual attire. Now, thanks to Kylie and Kris Jenner, they’re officially approved for mother-daughter matching.

On September 7, Kylie Jenner shared a photo with her momager on Instagram announcing the second Kris Jenner collaboration with Kylie Cosmetics. In the photo, both women pose in custom black Rey Ortiz corset ensembles and diamond earrings while holding martinis. While Kylie opted for a more futuristic neckline and peplum detail, Kris leaned particularly hard into the luxurious concept with a pair of satin opera gloves and a cheeky thigh-slit.

“THE KRIS COLLECTION ROUND 2 coming September 14th!!! 🫒,” Kylie captioned her post. “I love collaborating with you mommy @krisjenner 🍸 @kyliecosmetics.”

Clearly, corsets are the new power blazer. Just ask Gigi Hadid, who wore a white corset over a flouncy pink button-up to celebrate the launch of her line of cashmere knitwear! 

Kylie Jenner even wore a second corset dress to reveal the collection on TikTok, opting for a black leather LBD and dramatic emerald and diamond jewels while her mom changed into a black dress with a bold crystal-lined collar. 

The martini motif was played up on the packaging of the Kris Jenner-inspired collection, so it was only natural that Kris would pour the drinks in yet another TikTok video of the mother-daughter duo showing off the new products.
