Here is a roundup from the 2022 Creative Arts Emmy Awards which was held at the Microsoft Theater on Saturday (September 3) in Los Angeles, California.
‘Westworld’ actress Angela Sarafyan, who was one of the presenters on the night, looked beautiful wearing a KYHA Studios taffeta ballgown.
Some might be underwhelmed by this outing, but that’s only because Angela has set the bar so high for her red carpet appearances.
Is it even possible for her to top her Christian Siriano 2018 Emmys moment?
Maybe not.
It doesn’t get more classic Carolina Herrera than this.
Marcia Gay Harden wore the designers signature white shirt and ball skirt combo, and looked glorious doing so.
This was easily my favourite look of the night.
The ladies from ‘Selling Sunset’ were out in full force, looking like a reformed girl band who are totally out of sync with each other.
Chrishell Stause wore a Rafik Zaki Designs dress which is becoming quite a typical and predictable look for her.
The material needed steaming.
Mary Fitzgerald wore an Alex Perry plunging dress which was a great colour for her, but something about this feels a little dated. Or it’s the “been there, done that” of it all.
Emma Hernan wore a Valdrin Sahiti sunshine embellished gown which fit her like a glove.
Chelsea Lazkani wore a red Andrea Brocca Spiral Rose gown which we first saw on Jourdan Dunn back in December 2021 for The Fashion Awards.
I’m not sure if Jourdan’s pose showcased the gown better, or if Chelsea was too short for this look, but she’s not selling this to me.
Jane Levy wore a vintage, 1984 Chanel Haute Couture red dress which was so rich and radiant and I’m not left wishing she had done more in terms of accessories.
Simone Ledward-Boseman, Chadwick Boseman’s widow, accepted the actor’s posthumous Emmy award in the outstanding character voiceover performance category for his role in Marvel’s ‘What If…?,’ wearing an embellished Pamella Roland gown.
