Oh la, la!
Cher slayed on the Balmain catwalk on Wednesday during Paris Fashion Week.
The musical icon, 76, astounded fans when she stepped onto the runway with designer and the brand’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing.
The “Believe” crooner sported a tight metallic latex body suit and chunky black wedges for the evening.
“JUST HAD BEST TIME, ON STAGE…FELT GREAT,” Cher excitedly tweeted following the event in her usual all-caps style online. “SHOW WAS PROBABLY BEST FASHION SHOW EVER!”
“[The] MODELS WERE BEAUTY FROM ANOTHER UNIVERSE. CLOTHES 2 DIE 4. OLIVIER 2 DIE 4,” she went on. “STAGE WAS CALLING ME ‘Cher…..oh cher….come Home….’ I HEAR YOU!”
“It’s been Hard for me. I’ve Feared I might not….. BUT SKIPPING DOWN THE RUNWAY MADE ME THINK WOMAN…PULL UP YOUR BIG GIRL G-STRING & DO YOUR BEST!” the Goddess of Pop wrote in a follow-up tweet.
Rousteing and Cher held hands and walked around the catwalk together as her hit “Strong Enough” played in the background at the finale of the Womenswear Spring/Summer 2023 show.
“Cher and Olivier Rousteing closing the @Balmain SS23 show. A perfect ending for such a magnificent show,” a fan tweeted in awe of the appearance.
“Omg Cher and Olivier!!! This is such a moment!!!” another said.
“Is she even real?! I mean holy moly amazing!” one user mused.
Rousteing discussed the surprising moment with WWD, noting: “Cher has been a daring pioneer, a true trailblazer, for over six decades, never slowing down, always pulling us along with her, as she courageously marches forward.”
“And, in this challenging age that compels us to fight for long-overdue changes, her impressive, long-term commitment to dedicated activism is an example to all.”
