Emma Corrin had a busy weekend attending the London Film Festival premieres for ‘Lady Chatterley’s Lover’ and ‘My Policeman’ before the festival closed on Sunday.
For the premiere of ‘Lady Chatterley’s Love’ they wore a custom Miu Miu blue organza dress styled with black Miu Miu heels and Cartier jewels.
As someone who loves Emma’s more directional looks, I was kinda left unmoved by this outing.
The colour is beautiful, but this is the one time when I wouldn’t have minded Miu Miu drenching this dress in their customary embellishments.
I much prefer the 16Arlington Spring 2023 blazer which she wore as a dress to the drinks reception following the premiere.
Considering the elongated, oversized blazer has been trending for some time, and as this one had a nipped in waist, it was an easy transition from blazer to blazer dress.
The dramatic play on proportions as seen in the shoulders might throw some off this look, but this feels more authentic to Emma’s style than the first look for me.
For the ‘My Policeman’ premiere, Emma’s final look of the weekend – easily my favourite – was a JW Anderson Spring 2023 mini dress which resembled a goldfish floating in a bag.
This is the kind of creativity I love to see from Emma.
Wonderfully weird, with plenty of personality.
