Lupita Nyong’o attended the EBONY Power 100 event held at Milk Studios Los Angeles on Saturday (October 29) in California.
I’m sure many of you have noticed that Lupita has yet to deliver the bold colours we are used to seeing from her during this promo tour period for ‘Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever.’
I have to say – much to my surprise – that I’m enjoying this exploration of a stricter colour palette, and new styles, such as this Ashlyn Spring 2023 suit.
I love the construction of the blazer which is giving us a subtle Wakanda salute with the crossed detail, but I do feel that the trousers were too long on Lupita.
This can’t be overlooked, but I do enjoy her stepping out of her comfort-zone on this occasion.
What her outfit lacked in colour, makeup artist Nick Barose made up for with purple eye makeup.
