Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have changed their minds on the name of their newborn son, Wolf Webster.
On Monday, March 21, Kylie Jenner revealed this update on her second child, which she shares with rapper Scott, in a post to her Instagram Stories. It seems the decision came after the parents got to know the newest edition of their family a little better.
“FYI our sons name isn’t Wolf anymore,” Kylie wrote followed by two “grinning face with sweat” emojis. “We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere,” the Kylie Cosmetics founder finished following a prayer hand emoji.
There’s no confirmation on what Kylie meant, exactly, by her last sentence. Was it that Wolf has become so popular a name suddenly that she doesn’t want her son to share it with others? Or, more likely, she’s seen her son called “Wolf” in news headlines and wanted to put a stop to it. Whatever the case, it seems she’s keeping the new name more of a secret…for now.
This news of the changed name comes more than a month after the birth of their son on 2/2/22. It was initially announced by Kylie that the name of their first son was Wolf Jacques Webster, the middle name most likely a familiar connection to Scott whose legal name is Jacques Bermon Webster II.
There is no word yet on whether their son’s full name will be changed or just the first name, or if they’re legally changing the name. The famous duo also shares their first child together, Stormi Webster, whom they welcomed back in 2018 after a surprise pregnancy announcement by Kylie.
The IG story reveal followed Kylie’s bigger announcement an hour before, of a new Youtube video that shared the journey of her second pregnancy with Scott and the whole Kardashian/Jenner crew.
