Has anyone been more divorced than Tom Brady? Probably not. The former quarterback—who announced his retirement from the game of football for the second time last week, just months after his divorce from Gisele Bündchen was finalized—is posting thirst traps now.

On Monday, February 6, 2022, Brady posted a mirror selfie of himself on Instagram Stories wearing nothing but underwear, all for his apparel company Brady Brand. In the photo, which you can view over on his IG, Brady is sitting on a bed in front of a mirror, his hand over his privates so no one can get any ideas about anything. “Did I do this right?” Brady wrote on the bottom of his IG Story. He tagged NFL players Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski. At the top, he wrote, “Deals a deal,” tagging @bradybrand.

The Martha Stewart-level thirst trap was all part of a bet. Back in June 2022, a pre-divorce Brady wrote on Twitter that if a post from Brady Brand got more than 40k likes, he would recreate the photos himself. Eight months, one divorce, and one retirement later, Brady has delivered.

Last week, Tom Brady shared his official retirement from football with a selfie video after announcing but then taking back his retirement in 2022, an act that reportedly caused tensions in his marriage to Bündchen which eventually led to their divorce.

“I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first,” Brady said. “I won’t be long-winded—you only get one super-emotional retirement essay and I used mine up last year—so…really, thank you guys so much, to every single one of you, for supporting me—my family, my friends, my teammates, my competitors…I could go on forever. There’s too many. Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you all.”
