Reese Witherspoon joined Suki Waterhouse on the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of Prime Video’s ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’ on Thursday (February 23).
The actress wore a Schiaparelli Spring 2023 strapless, fitted dress enriched with padded bone inserts in plush velvet – referencing Elsa Schiaparelli’s infamous Skeleton dress – accented with golden nipple buttons.
This the third Schiaparelli red carpet look we’ve seen from Reese (2022 SAG Awards & ‘Surface’ New York premiere), and I have felt the same way about all of them.
Nice. But the essence of the brand has totally evaporated.
That’s because Reese will always do Reese. And we can’t fault her for that.
She knows what she likes, and she knows what works for her.
Reese has a red carpet formula, and as much as we would like her to switch things up, even when she switches from Roland Mouret to Schiaparelli, the outcome is still the same.
You’ll either be frustrated by it or find it admirable.
