As if we weren’t already levitating with excitement about the return of the Showtime drama—centered on a soccer team’s worth of teen girls doing their best to survive in the wild after a plane crash—the recently released trailer for season two features a slowed-down, extremely creepy remix of No Doubt’s “Just a Girl.” Perfectly matching the show’s tone, it has us counting down the minutes until our favorite depraved, feral girlies are on our TVs again.
Speculation has been flying about Yellowjackets’s next installment ever since its season one finale last year, and now, we’re mere days away from finding out how Misty, Shauna, Taissa, Nat, and the rest of the gang are faring in the cold. The first episode of season two—which is titled “Friends, Romans, Countrymen” and was directed by Daisy von Scherler Mayer—will air on Sunday, March 26.
Which members of the Yellowjackets cast will return for Season 2?
Warning: There will be spoilers for the first season from here on out. The bulk of the first season’s main cast—including Christina Ricci, Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, and Tawny Cypress as Misty, Shauna, Natalie, and Taissa (respectively), and Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Nélisse, Sophie Thatcher, and Jasmin Savoy Brown as their younger counterparts—will all be returning.
