Things really do move faster in Hollywood. Lukas Gage and Chris Appleton, who confirmed their relationship in March, are reportedly engaged! E! News confirmed the engagement on April 5. According to an earlier report from US Weekly, the couple got secretly engaged before they even had rings.
“They’re not telling the public yet, but they have told friends they are engaged,” the Us Weekly source said. “They got engaged before they even had rings and then went to pick them out together. Friends think they are a great couple. Even though they moved very quickly, everyone around them is very excited about their relationship.”
Gage, 27, is an actor known for roles in The White Lotus and You; he was first linked to Appleton, 39, a celebrity hairstylist, in February, when they each shared photos of a vacation in Mexico together on Instagram. The pics were posted just a few weeks after Gage revealed some very special Valentine’s Day plans with an unnamed romantic interest in an interview with Glamour.
Appleton confirmed the relationship with Gage during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on March 15. “Listen, I’m very happy. Very much in love, and I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special. Love is a really special thing, and I think meeting someone you connect with is really, really special, so….”
